Sample Collection and Turnaround Time
To conduct the Chromofic Karyoarray Test, a sample of 4 mL (2 mL min.) whole blood is required in both a Lavender Top (EDTA) tube and a Green Top (Sodium Heparin) tube. The samples should be shipped refrigerated and must not be frozen. A duly filled Genomic Microarray Requisition form (Form 19) is mandatory. The turnaround time for results is 10 working days, with samples accepted daily by 4 PM.
