Sample Collection and Turnaround Time
Sample Type: 3 mL (1.5 mL min.) serum. Blood should be collected in a pre-warmed Red Top (No Additive) tube using a pre-warmed syringe and needle at 37°C. Allow to clot and centrifuge preferably at 37°C. Separate serum and transport at room temperature. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not use SST gel barrier tubes.
Turnaround Time: Samples should be submitted daily by 9 am; reports will be available within 5 days.
