For this test, a sample of 3 mL (1 mL min.) serum is required from a Red Top (No Additive) tube. It is crucial not to use SST gel barrier tubes. The sample should be shipped refrigerated or frozen, and the recommended time for collection is just before the next scheduled dose. A duly filled Test Send Out Consent Form (Form 35) is mandatory.
