- Submit oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal swabs, ET secretions, BAL, or sputum inoculated in a special viral transport medium (VTM).
- Ship samples refrigerated in a special transport box.
- Provide 2 mL (0.5 mL min.) serum from 1 SST and 3 mL (2 mL min.) whole blood in 1 Lavender Top (EDTA) tube.
- Overnight fasting is preferred.
- A duly filled Covid-19 Clinical Information Form (Form 44) / SRF ID is mandatory.
