- Avoid bananas, walnuts, tomatoes, pineapples, plums, gooseberries, mirabelles, melons, avocados, aubergines, kiwi fruits, and drugs like methocarbamol, mephenesin, guaiphenesis, paracetamol, salicylic acid, and strenuous exercise at least 48 hours before and during specimen collection.
