For this test, a sample of 3 mL (2 mL min.) whole blood is required, collected in 1 Lavender Top (EDTA) tube and 1 Green Top (Sodium Heparin) tube. Alternatively, 2 mL (1 mL min.) Bone Marrow in 1 Green Top (Sodium Heparin) tube and an Aspirate Smear can be submitted. Samples must be shipped immediately at 18°C to 22°C and should not be refrigerated or frozen. A clinical history is mandatory for accurate results.
