- Blood sample (Serum). Minimum volume: 1 mL, preferred volume: 2 mL. Collected in a red top tube without additives. Avoid SST gel barrier tubes.

- Fasting is preferred. Sample collection should ideally occur between 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM or 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Please note the time and date on the specimen container and test request form.
