- 5 mL (3 mL min.) whole blood in 2 Green Top (Sodium Heparin) tubes from both husband and wife. 3 mL whole blood in 1 Blue Top (Sodium Citrate) tube.

- Preparation
- Discontinue Heparin for 1 day and oral anticoagulants for 7 days prior to sampling (with prior consent from the treating physician). Fast overnight if possible. Complete the required requisition forms (Chromosome and FISH Analysis Requisition Form and Coagulation Requisition Form).
