For accurate results, a sample of 4 mL (2 mL min.) serum is required from a red top (no additive) tube. It is critical to avoid using SST gel barrier tubes. The specimen should be collected more than 12 hours post oral dose and shipped refrigerated or frozen. A duly filled Test Send Out Consent Form (Form 35) is mandatory.
