Sample Collection and Instructions
The sample required for the Bromide Total Test is 3 mL (2 mL min.) of serum collected in a metal-free Royal Blue Top (No Additive) tube. It is crucial to immediately centrifuge and separate the serum into a deionized water-rinsed transport tube. The sample should be shipped refrigerated or frozen, and a duly filled Test Send Out Consent Form (Form 35) is mandatory.
Turnaround Time
Samples must be submitted by the 7th of the month, with reports available after 2 to 3 weeks.
