To perform this test, please submit 2 kidney biopsy specimens: one in buffered normal saline for DIF studies and one in 10% formal saline for histopathology. It is mandatory to provide a brief clinical history using the Renal Biopsy-Native Kidneys Requisition Form (Form 5) or the Renal Allograft/Transplant Biopsy Requisition Form (Form 6). Samples should be shipped refrigerated.
