To conduct the Felbamate Test, a sample of 2 mL (1 mL minimum) serum is required from a Red Top (No Additive) tube. It is important not to use SST gel barrier tubes. The sample should be shipped refrigerated or frozen, with the ideal sampling time being 1 hour before the next dose. A duly filled Test Send Out Consent Form (Form 35) is mandatory.
